1. What We Collect

Wake & Earn collects minimal data to function:

• Health data (steps, workouts) — read from Apple HealthKit to calculate earned screen time. This data is processed on-device and never leaves your phone.
• Screen Time data — managed through Apple's FamilyControls framework to block and unblock apps. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
• Alarm and task data — your alarm settings, dismiss tasks, bedtime settings, streak history, and earned/spent time are stored locally on your device.
• Camera data (pushup detection) — the front camera is used to detect pushup reps via on-device pose estimation. No images or video are recorded, stored, or transmitted. All processing happens in real time on your device.

2. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Location data
• Browsing history or app usage details
• Photos, contacts, or messages
• Camera images or recordings
• Any data from the apps you choose to block

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Wake & Earn offers optional PRO subscriptions ($4.99/month or $29.99/year with a 7-day free trial) managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not process payments directly and do not have access to your payment information. Subscription status is verified through RevenueCat, which receives only an anonymous app user ID.

4. HealthKit Data

Wake & Earn uses Apple HealthKit to read step count and workout data. This data is used solely to calculate earned screen time within the app. In accordance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines:

• HealthKit data is never stored on external servers
• HealthKit data is never shared with third parties
• HealthKit data is never used for advertising
• You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in your iPhone's Settings

5. Screen Time and FamilyControls

Wake & Earn uses Apple's Screen Time and FamilyControls frameworks to manage app blocking, including the bedtime lock feature. You choose which apps to block, and that selection is stored locally. We cannot see which apps you have installed or which apps you choose to block.

6. Camera and Pose Detection

The pushup detection feature uses your device's front camera and Apple's Vision framework to detect body poses in real time. No images or video are captured, saved, or transmitted. The camera feed is processed frame-by-frame on your device and immediately discarded. This feature requires your explicit permission and can be disabled at any time.

7. Analytics and Tracking

Wake & Earn does not include any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not track your behavior, build profiles, or serve ads.

8. Data Storage

All app data (alarms, tasks, streaks, bedtime settings, progress) is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed.

9. Children's Privacy

Wake & Earn does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or personal information of any kind.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the app or on this page with an updated effective date.
